Arogasm

You're sitting in your car
The traffic's jammed again
But it's not just traffic
Something else from which you refrain
You know it's there and burning you out but you just don't know how to tell
Everyone else that they can go to hell

The road may be long
And you may go wrong
And there might be times when you don't feel like coming home
But just wait a bit
And trust in your wit
Just don't feel obliged to live a life that doesn't fit

Then some man starts telling you
Who to be and how to behave
That's because he likes to be
Some other master's slave
You don't tend to swallow your pride and stick the truth right in his face
He won't see that was really an act of grace

The road may be long...

Late at night at home
When your daemons almost hunt you down
When you start to question
If you might not be terribly wrong
Then you start to realize
It might as well be so
Cause most of the people out there
Will never know what you know

The road may be long
