Not My Responsibility To Shift
When skyscrapers are illuminated
I want all my credits to be traded
I'm not at all into bent knees
I'm definitely not someone who flees
Accumulating stone by stone
And finally I got an avalanche thrown
Down it is coming
Falling down on me
But it leads the way to prosperity
I am what I thought that you might understand
But you couldn't get rid of all your thoughts
And all your chains and everything you had
To build up your own truth, oh it's so sad
That you could never really make you free
To get your own ability to see
What this life had left for you to give
Not my responsibility to shift
Career paths: I don't care
But to leave them no one will dare
I got an outline of what I want to be
But that will require a "she"
Killing always seems so hard
When I kill myself they say I'm smart
In a room whose imaginators
Are long gone
I try to change my mind until dawn
I am...
